Which Card Sleeve Material is Right For You?

It is highly unlikely a credit or debit card can be demagnetized by being close to a cell phone. Despite claims of demagnetization, magnetic strips are more often corrupted by static electricity, scratches, and small bends. We provide 4 different types of protection. Use the descriptions below to choose the material that best fits your needs. Provide card protection and brand recognition at the same time.

  • ArmorShield® RFID Blocking Card Sleeves are composed of a Tyvek® exterior, bonded to an RFID-blocking metal alloy, with a poly-coated interior. This rugged composition makes these card sleeves water, chemical, and puncture-resistant, as well as tear-resistant, anti-static, and dust-free.
  • PaperTyger®/Guardian® RFID Blocking Card Sleeves are made of 32# PaperTyger®, multi-ply laminate with a security barrier that prevents RFID detection. These RFID sleeves are lightweight and durable.
  • Tyvek® Card Sleeves are a tear resistant and moisture proof polymer-based material. This product is geared towards longer-lasting protection and perspiration resistance in clothing and garments.
  • 24# Paper Card Sleeves are an affordable and attractive option for short term uses, like hotel key cards. This 24# white wove bond paper prints beautifully and won't break the budget.

Imprints are available in 1, 2 or full color, with or without a bleed. What is a "bleed" you ask? If your imprint is near or over the edge of the sleeve, that is a “bleed”.
